Day 2 - Track #2: Living Like December
Today we have the second song from Falling Up - Living Like December. I think this song pretty much speaks for itself. It's about being with somebody who is a "dangerous" person for your heart - they live like fire so you have to live like ice to balance it out. "You've already burned me... so I'm living like December and it's getting cold." This song was a fun one to take into the studio. I already knew what I wanted it to sound like so I recorded all of the instruments in my home studio first, then we took it into the studio and re-recorded everything. I got to play some acoustic slide guitar and a mandolin part. It was fun! Check it out here:
